“Spring cleaning isn’t just about sorting through things and getting rid of clutter. It’s about taking stock of who you are, and how others see you. It’s a chance to redefine yourself, to change expectations, and to remember that it’s never too late to recapture who you were, or to aim for who you want to be.”
Join us for an evening in honour of the Spring Equinox.
Let us slowly emerge from the prolonged hibernation & darkness of winter. The season of quietness, stillness & rest. A time where we traditionally eat a stodgier, heavier diet. All this can sometimes lead to a certain heaviness & frustration resulting from stuck & stagnant energy. And then along comes Spring ! This time of shedding & letting go all the layers that no longer serve us & embracing this powerful time of Transition, Reawakening & Renewal.
-
We will begin with a simple Qi Gong practice to awaken & refuel our subtle bodies with fresh Spring inspired energy.
-
We will explore the practice of facial self-massage using key acupressure points to release stress & tension with the optional use of a blend of sacred oils perfect for this time of year. Oils will be prepared & blended by Sharon.
-
From here Sharon will guide you through a short practice of Yin Yoga focusing on our liver which commands our attention at this time of year.
-
The evening will begin to slow down into a relaxing yet restorative practice in the company of Yoga Nidra & Poetry blended with that art of ancient instruments of healing sending you into a state of bliss in Savasana.
-
Once settled Craig will bathe you with an intense high vibration Gong & Sound Healing Session.
We hope you leave the practice embracing the shift of Spring and with a positive opening up to new possibilities which can result in massive changes to all aspects of your life.
We deliberately keep the group small to ensure individual attention and comfort.
Sharon teaches the Wednesday evening Gentle Yoga into Meditation class here at MYC as well as teaching at her home studio in Oldham. https://www.myyogaseed.com/
