Yin Yang Yoga

Yin yang Yoga is a balanced class it’s begins  with a  yang energising flow which builds gradually to warm the body and create some inner heat. Perfect for increasing blood flow and  vitality. The practice leads onto some yin postures which target specific meridian pathways and also self acupressure points for healing and balance.
The practice ends with a guided relaxation.
This practice is delivered by Nikki who combines her yogic knowledge with her training in shaitsu and TCM.

Vinyasa syncs breath to movement. This class contains some pranayama, vinyasa flow yoga and a progressive relaxation.
It’s a little faster in pace and has a flowing continuous sequence which gradually builds. You are encouraged to work at your own level and alternatives of each asana is offered.  This class improves breathing capacity, strength, balance and flexibility. With an eastern inspired sound track and candle light to enhance the feel and flow.

Primal Flow

Tuesdays 7.30pm

Natalie

Primal flow is the fusing of hatha yoga and vinyasa elements, a fluid approach to body-mind awareness all merged together to create a flavour of movement that is synchronised with the breath. The practise consists of pranayama to ground into your organic rhythm of breath, followed by deep meditation and yoga flow. This style of yoga is open to all levels, shapes and sizes.

Gentle Flow into Meditation

Wednesdays 6pm

Sharon

The beauty of this gentle flow is that you get to work through a choreographed sequence but you are encouraged to do so with a sense of calm, intention and attention.

It is so important to approach this practice with mindfulness and to connect not only to your breath but to also listen to the innate & inbuilt intelligence that our bodies already possess.

As we move through postures, we maybe stay there for 4 or 5 breaths but it's not about holding a rigid posture but rather exploring the pose and seeing how your body responds. It's all about making the pose work for your body at this very moment in time. Opening and closing, deepening and rising with the breath. Awakening to the more subtle layers within which radiate from our Dantien - our Centre of Gravity.

We will bring the end the practice to a close with a guided meditation.
